New Coffee Shop Brings Fresh Energy to Downtown Elba

A new locally owned coffee shop has opened its doors in downtown Elba, bringing fresh coffee, pastries, and a welcoming gathering space to residents and visitors. Riverbend Coffee officially opened this week on Court Square and has already drawn strong support from the community. Owner Sarah Mitchell said she hopes the shop becomes a place where locals can meet, work, and connect. “We wanted to create a comfortable spot where people could stop in before work, meet friends, or just enjoy a quiet cup of coffee,” Mitchell said. Members of the Elba Chamber of Commerce attended the ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday morning, welcoming the new business to the downtown district.
